    • Provide strategic and timely legal advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
    • Develop and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication and updates.
    • Collaborate with senior lawyers and team members on complex cases, contributing to strategic planning and business development.
    • Stay informed about legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury or insurance defense.
    • A member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
    • Proven experience with client management, discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and trials.
    • Superior communication and English writing skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
    • A proactive, “can do anything” attitude and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

    Assets:

    • Significant experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of accident benefits and injury tort claims.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and experience working with insurance adjusters and defense lawyers.
    • Proficiency in French or other languages is considered a valuable asset.
    • A demonstrated ability to manage and grow an independent practice is a plus.

    Additional Information:

    • We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement. The expected compensation could range from $100,000 to $130,000 per annum.
    • Enjoy the flexibility to work on your own files and develop your practice within a supportive environment.
